In today’s society, everyone is busy. Case in point, I have tried to see my bank manager for the last 2 weeks. Every time I go in, he is gone. I’ve been in 5 times over the last 14 days. Now this manager is a friend and I know what car he drives, and it isn’t in the parking lot, so he isn’t just hiding, he’s that busy!
So every time I stop by, I give a business card to whoever I talk to and say, “Would you mind leaving this on his desk to let him know I stopped by?” Then I write, “Missed you, I’ll stop by later this week” on the back of my business card. This tells him I was here, but not to worry because I’ll be coming back soon.
Not only that, but now he has 5 of my business cards sitting on and around his desk. Now when a customer comes in talking about services I perform, he remember my business because of my business card and can give a recommendation easily!
