Business Cards as Appointment Cards

My dentist gives me an appointment card every time I leave the office. On the appointment card is their name and address, and the date and time of my next appointment.

Their cards are completely blank on the back, and I think this is where they are missing out.   I know dentists, in many areas, spend thousands of dollars trying to get new patients (customers), but they don’t do the small things that can lead to huge results.

How about putting something like this on the back of their business appointment cards, “Earn a $50 gift certificate to Restaurant for everyone you refer to us!” or “$100 off any non-insurance covered procedure for every referral!”   Non-insurance covered procedures could be braces, teeth whitening, or other elective procedures.

Just that small change could results in 5-10 leads per month, every month!
