I often say to myself and my students you need to see yourself where you want to be. There’s a very wise and accurate saying that goes, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” What this means is you are who you think you are. You are who you carry yourself to be. If you want to be a professional, you need to start carrying business cards. It’s as simple as that.
Business cards are the basic fundamentals of being a business professional. Name one business professional who doesn’t carry some form of business identification? I bet you professional dentists like Karl Jobst have business cards. In fact, he probably has stacks of them around his office for his employees to give out for him. That’s called productivity. That’s called professional.
